Ensuring a sustainable future is now essential for every company and every part of society. The Sustainability & Innovation Committee (SNIC) develops shared solutions that benefit both the planet and society while advocating for a more sustainable business environment.

Goals 

• Drive shared value creation by encouraging members to create greater value for people, the planet and common prosperity.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing through seminars, guest speaker sessions and member showcases of sustainable best practices.
• Support members in co-creating sustainable solutions at both domestic and international levels.
• Collaborate with policymakers to foster a forward-looking Belgian ecosystem that enhances sustainable business development.
• Monitor and contribute to policy, legislative and regulatory developments in sustainability, leveraging proximity to the EU to support and showcase its sustainability agenda.

The massive scale and complexity of the generational issues we face are hard to grapple with. I personally was struggling with finding a way to get involved in a meaningful way. However, in the Sustainability & Innovation Committee, I have found a group of peers to share with and experts to learn from. Our members are a driven bunch and we seek to own up to our responsibility as leaders in the ongoing transformation, while sharing our challenges with policymakers to enable us to do so.
