Innovative Healthcare Committee
The Innovative Healthcare Committee (IHC) is a unique cross-industry platform dedicated to nurturing proposals for a sustainable and high-quality healthcare ecosystem in Belgium. It partners with all healthcare stakeholders to empower individuals and improve patient outcomes. By integrating diverse industries—from pharmaceuticals and medical technologies to digital and consumer health products—the IHC fosters a comprehensive approach to healthcare.
Goals

Together, we explore emerging technologies, foster cross-sector partnerships and advocate for policies that advance patient-centric solutions. It is a privilege to be part of this dynamic group, where ideas are turned into action, and where we collectively work towards a healthier and more sustainable future for all.
As a 'think and do-tank,' the IHC sets policy guidelines and co-creates innovative solutions to enhance healthcare quality and sustainability, while supporting R&D and manufacturing.
Subcommittees
The Subcommittee advocates for the establishment of an overarching integrated care facilitator to coordinate and align efforts at national, regional, and local levels across disciplines. Its mission is to advance integrated care and develop related recommendations for AmCham Belgium, emphasizing the industry's contributions to this goal.
The Subcommittee aims to advocate for the integration of Real World Data (RWD) in the Belgian healthcare system, to lead to a more innovative, patient-centered and sustainable healthcare. The Subcommittee also directs its efforts towards the collection of good quality, shareable and researchable data, obtained through real-world settings.
