Member Relations Manager

The American Chamber of Commerce in Belgium (AmCham Belgium) represents nearly 400 member companies, including some of the largest U.S. and Belgian companies across various sectors. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Member Relations Manager to join us in a pivotal role as we continue to grow and strengthen our Chamber.

About the job

As a Member Relations Manager, your mission is to strive for excellence in ensuring a superior experience for each member throughout their membership journey with our Chamber. You will work in an exciting international environment and interact with inspiring business leaders, policymakers, and key opinion leaders. A full-time permanent contract will be extended to the selected candidate, with an attractive salary including meal vouchers, a pension plan, and health insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all AmCham members and as the lead resource for the AmCham Secretariat on member engagement strategy. This includes:
    • Building strong relationships with our members, ensuring their inquiries and concerns are professionally addressed.
    • Monitoring member engagement and satisfaction levels and developing innovative initiatives to enhance member participation and foster a sense of belonging.
    • Maintaining meticulous member records.
  • Develop and execute a robust member prospect recruitment strategy, including:
    • Conducting research to identify and engage with relevant prospective member companies and key decision-makers.
    • Crafting compelling outreach strategies for prospective member companies.
  • Coordinate and collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and meaningful events and content for the AmCham member community.
  • Gather feedback and identify areas for improvement, continually enhancing our services.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices to elevate the member experience.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Fluency in English
  • Higher education degree in business, law, economics, political science, or other relevant subject
  • Relevant previous experience, preferably in professional services or member-driven organization
  • Confidence presenting to and interacting with CEOs and Senior Executives
