 Belgium ranks second in Europe for clinical trials but lags behind Scandinavian countries in the secondary use of health data. To address this gap, the Belgian Health Data Agency was recently established to promote a secure, transparent and standardized data-driven healthcare system.

 Building on a joint position paper by IQVIA and AmCham Belgium (in attachment), which outlines ten recommendations to improve Belgium’s standing, this summit will bring together pharma and vaccine industry leaders, Dutch and French-speaking hospitals (including a DPO) and established public bodies, sharing their valuable insights on this critical topic.
