For our first virtual event of 2021, we will be welcoming the new Ambassador of Belgium to the US, Jean-Arthur Régibeau in a new episode of our AmCham Belgium meets series.

Some of the topics the Ambassador will talk about include:

Jean-Arthur Régibeau

After several years working in the private sector and later as legal adviser, Jean-Arthur Régibeau joined the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1998. He served as the diplomatic adviser to the Minister of Defense then as first embassy secretary at the Belgian Embassy in Berlin. Mr. Régibeau returned to Brussels as chief of staff to the Minister of Defense and then worked at the FPS Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation. In 2016, he took up the role as ambassador to the Russian Federation, Armenia, Belarus and Uzbekistan and in 2020 became the Belgian Ambassador to the United States.
